Today in The Library: The Way Out –The Mirror World
“Today in the Library: bringing Charley and the Mirror to life.”
Charley lives in a village ruled by the Mirror — a mysterious, silvered force that appears whenever thoughts, words, or actions stray from the rules. The Mirror can inhabit anyone, turning friends into reflections that judge, shame, and pit people against each other. When Charley’s closest friend becomes the Mirror, she experiences betrayal and fear like never before. But in defiance, she learns that the Mirror’s power depends on belief, and that the first step toward freedom is to refuse its control. The Way Out is a mythic journey about identity, trust, and the courage to see the truth behind the silver.

An antenna buzzed from its head, sending out a series of soft, glowing lights into the air. “Help is coming,” it continued, its eyes shimmering with kindness. “Come with me to the big treehouse!”

One day, while exploring near the Bird City Bridge, they heard a tiny voice yelling, “HELP!!!” Looking around, they found a chubby purple baby bird who needed their help to get back home. Forest, River, and Rock decided to help, of course…
